Dr. Ryan Gill is the Wilfred and Caroline Slade Endowed Professor of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado, Boulder. Dr. Gill is a renowned professor and entrepreneur in the biotechnology industry. He is a cofounder of OPXBIO (acquired by Cargill, 2015) and Biota Technology, Inc. He is also a cofounder and the CEO of Muse Biotechnologies.
Dr. Gill received his Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University in 1993. In 1997, he earned his Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and in 1999 her completed his Doctor of Philosophy in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Maryland. From 1999 to 2001, Dr. Gill was a post-doctoral fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
